Stories of God s People; the Old Testament

Summer Worship Series 2025

Join us for summer worship as we explore wonderful stories from the Old Testament.  For some of us, these stories may bring back memories of learning about them in our childhood. For others, this could be the first introduction to them.  Through these stories, we will see how God was together with people in their times of joy, sorrow and challenges - just as God is with us today in our daily lives.  We are part of a long history of being God s people.

Valley of the Birdtail - "MC Canada Reads"
Valley of the Birdtail is a powerful true story of racism and reconciliation in Canada. Through two families one Indigenous, one non-Indigenous it traces how neighbouring communities became separate and unequal. Set in Rossburn and the Waywayseecappo First Nation, the book reveals the lasting effects of colonialism and residential schools, while offering a hopeful vision for the future.
