What is Where the Cottonwoods Grow about? In the 1870s,
Mennonites embarked on a 20,000 km journey from Imperial Russia (now Ukraine)
to the West. This incredible migration, marked by faith, resilience, and
determination, not only shaped the lives of those who undertook it but also
laid the foundation for generations to come. The documentary Where the
Cottonwoods Grow brings this story to life, highlighting the courage,
sacrifice, and deep faith of those early pioneers. For more information, please
