Worship Preview
Worship: To Hope and Act with Creation is our fall worship series, providing
an Anabaptist lens as we seek justice and peace for all creation. In a time
when the groans of creation are growing in intensity, Mennonites are invited to
join Christians all over the world in marking the Season of Creation - six weeks in September and October of
worship, prayer, and action dedicated to the healing of our common home. (We
will extend into November.)
Romans 8:14-25 provides a rich
scriptural framework for the season, inviting us to join creation in lament and
praise as we seek reconnecting as kin within the whole, moving away from a
culture of destruction into a fully restored and embodied web of life.

Congregational Meeting Dec.
1 during Second Hour
In 2021 Valleyview submitted an application for sponsorship of a refugee. We
have received notice from the Canadian government that this application has
been withdrawn and the file closed. We have funds in the Refugee Support
Fund that were allocated for this sponsorship and we
now need to discuss how to proceed. A congregational meeting is scheduled
for Dec.1 during Second Hour to discuss our options. Further details to
follow.
Livestream & Recording
Worship Interruption
Our live stream and
recording of worship services at Valleyview is interrupted until further notice
while equipment is sent for repair by the manufacturer. There will be no
recording during this time. We anticipate the outage to last through November
and aim to restore streaming for the Advent season.
We hope home viewers will be able to soon join us again remotely at 10am Sundays
when the service is restored.
