*Event* - Intergenerational Gathering at Valleyview
Activities:
- 3:30pm – Hike: Led by Mike F, through Kilally Woods
along north shore of Thames River. We will meet
by the Dan Pulham Field at the far east end of
Windemere Road – off Adelaide – and begin our hike from this point. (one
hour)
- 5:00pm – Dinner at the church: Wiener roast and Ice Cream Sundaes – free-will offering
will be collected to help cover the cost of the meal
- 6:00pm – Intergenerational
table games planned by Sarah D
***In the event of rain, the hike will be
canceled but we will still have a wiener roast dinner at 5pm, followed by Table
games.
Sunday,
May 5th – 11:00am, the Annual Business Meeting of the Congregation will
be held during the Second Hour time in-person at Valleyview.

London Liberation Seder 2024 – Sunday, April
28
Passover is a Jewish holiday commemorating the
Exodus from Egypt and freedom from oppression. In recognition that none of us
are free until all of us are free, we dedicate this year's Liberation Seder to
our shared struggles and uplift Palestinian voices in exile. The Seder will be led by Kohenet SandraLaya Ruch of the
Jewish Liberation Theology Institute.
Location: Valleyview Mennonite Church
Time: 6pm- 9pm
Cost: $40 per person includes dinner

Solar Eclipse Glasses Collection at MCEC Annual Church
Gathering
Bring your solar eclipse glasses to the MCEC
Annual Church Gathering for collection. They will be distributed to school
children in developing countries in preparation for upcoming eclipses. Collect
them in your congregation and send them with your
delegates at the end of April. A collection bin will be at the Creation Care
Resource Group display table.

you join the lines for spring rolls and doughnuts at the New Hamburg Mennonite
Relief Sale, get an early morning 2 km or 5 km fun run in at the Run for
