Mission Project: Request from the London Community Chaplaincy

Last week the Valleyview church office sent out a newsletter from the London Community Chaplaincy, outlining several "in-kind" projects that could be undertaken. With the go-ahead by the Missions and Social Concerns Committee, I am suggesting that Valleyview might be interested in making up some Blessing Bags, one of the February projects.

If you are interested in making up a Blessing Bag for a single mom at Limberlost, here are some suggestions for a bag to be valued at about $10:

$5 Tim Horton's cards

pretty soap

chocolate

tea

mints

a nice pen

encouragement notes

garden seeds

Please place the items in a small gift bag or wrap in cellophane.

If you would like to prepare one or more of these bags, please let me know. I will collect them from you in the next week or so.
