Tuesday, January 23
5:30pm to 8:00pm: The Art in
Recovery recreation group (in Basement Main Hall)
A free art and recreation group meeting up once
per month for people in the recovery/recovering stages of addiction (whether
substance or process). Offering a fully supplied art group that encourages
positive communication and supports to group members
in any stage of recovery. Come paint your worries away with us! Pre-Registration

An intergenerational faith exploration group meeting
(week 2 of approx.. 8) discussing matters of faith as
described in Palmer Becker’s Anabaptist Essentials, an exploration of the
Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), along with other key Biblical texts and
concepts. If you are interested in conversation and discussion about matters of
faith – and willing to share about your own journey, please contact Pastor Marv:

Invitation to
participate in the MCC's Great Winter Warm Up at Valleyview
Valleyview is again participating in MCC's Great
Winter Warm Up. This year the event will take place on Saturday January
27th from 10 am to noon at Valleyview. You are invited to participate by
knotting a comforter and contributing to the gift of warm comforters to those in need around the world. Each
comforter provides not only warmth but also a tangible reminder to people in
vulnerable situations that their needs are not forgotten. Help us
in meeting the MCC goal to collect 7,000 comforters. On January 27,
you’re invited to participate in a comforter-knotting blitz. Knotters of all
skills are welcome and coffee and muffins will be

Corporation is scheduled for Saturday, February 10, 2024
at 10:00 am, at Valleyview. Please mark your calendars.

Board Budget Review Meeting
During
Second Hour on Sunday, February 5, the Board will review the 2024 budget in
preparation for the upcoming AGM. To
prepare for this time, please download and review the Budget 2024 booklet, as well as the AGM Booklet (will be
published January 27th). Some
printed copies are also available by the church mailbox wall in the upper
lobby.

this small and vibrant faith-based community can provide for students studying

strong reactions to scented products. Please refrain from using all scented
products: cologne, perfume, hairspray, hand and body
lotion.

allergy. Please refrain from bringing, eating, or serving any food labelled as
containing peanuts or with warning “May contain peanuts”.
