10:00am – New Year’s Eve Breakfast Worship Service at Valleyview *No Live Stream Today*

 

Worship will gather in the basement Main Hall around tables and food.  Please bring something to share: a fruit plate, cheese & crackers, or muffins.  (Please no peanuts or peanut products due to allergies.)  Also, please bring your own dishes, cups and cutlery.  Help with setting up tables before the service and cleanup afterwards would be appreciated.

JANUARY 

January 7: Epiphany Sunday

            Second Hour: Intergenerational Co-op housing conversation continued

January 14: Salvation History Series Begins

This five week worship series will focus on stories from the Old Testament as we consider these questions and others: What is our understanding of God? What does it mean to be chosen? What does it mean to be saved? What do we mean when we declare the Bible to be “Divinely Inspired”?

 

Donations to the Church Budget

 

2023 Givings - Final Offering Collection: Worship will include an offering Sunday, December 24th (morning and evening) and Sunday December 31st. This is the final opportunity to submit givings in-person for 2023 year.

2023 Givings - Mailing Deadline: If mailing givings intended for 2023 year, the envelope must be post-marked as received by Canada Post by December 31, 2023.  If the envelope is received by our office with a post-mark dated after December 31, it will be included in your 2024 donation total instead. 

 

2023 Online or e-transfer Donations: can be received up to midnight on Dec 31, 2023.

Scent-Free Zone: Severe Scent Allergy

Valleyview is a scent-free zone as many participants have strong reactions to scented products. Please refrain from using all scented products: cologne, perfume, hairspray, hand and body lotion.

No Peanuts: Allergy Alert

Members in attendance experience a serious peanut allergy. Please refrain from bringing, eating, or serving any food labelled as containing peanuts or with warning “May contain peanuts”.
