Student In A Box (Shoebox) Gifting
Our college and university students are finishing essays and preparing for final exams in a few short weeks. We seek to help them feel God’s love and remind them their church family is thinking about them at this time of year.

On the library counter in the upper lobby beginning Sunday March 19, you will find boxes with a Valleyview student’s name on them. Please consider picking one (or more), filling it, and arranging delivery in April (by Easter).  Let’s make sure our students know we care!

Ideas to fill the boxes and remind them of home & Easter:
-Home-made goods (soup mix, cookies, etc.)
-Gift cards (coffee, convenience food, retail, etc.)
-Seasonal greeting card or postcard

-Favourite snacks or candy

-Inspirational/décor (coasters, magnet, photo frame, festive lights, mug, etc.)
-Fun (fidgets, a magazine, a book for summer reading, etc.)
-Practical (hygiene items, school supplies, cozy socks, etc.)

Empty Shoebox Collection: To help maintain a supply of empty shoeboxes for this program, please consider saving from your purchases throughout the year and bringing the empty boxes to church, leaving them on the table outside the Church Office door. Thank you! -Heather, Administrative Coordinator

Attendance Practices at Valleyview

Masking Policy at Valleyview

Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health advises all Ontarians should wear a mask in crowded indoor public spaces, especially those at higher risk. Our Valleyview COVID-19 task force encourages everyone to:

·         Wear masks for worship services and large gatherings

·         Get the COVID-19 vaccines and influenza vaccine (flu shot)

·         Stay home if feeling unwell

Extra single-use masks are available at the entry doors on Sunday in case of forgetting to bring one.

We hope these recommendations help to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe at Valleyview. Thanks for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our COVID-19 task force committee members: Don, Greg, Erin, and Heather.

Scent-Free Zone: Severe Scent Allergy

Valleyview is a scent-free zone as many participants have strong reactions to scented products. Please refrain from using all scented products: cologne, perfume, hairspray, hand and body lotion.
